The Lighthouse Community Shower Outreach Program serves Solano County by providing showers for the unhoused population. Our vision is to change lives by restoring dignity and giving hope through offering avenues of health and resources.
Our mission is to create a healthy and equitable system where everyone has access to community services, including clean showers, bathroom facilities, oral and bath products, food resources, and hygiene education. Our hope is to see all communities develop the infrastructure for all populations to have the support and systems to make healthy choices and live long, productive, and healthy lives.
In partnership with Vallejo Together, Solano County, and several other local community organizations, we have provided hot showers and toiletries for thousands in Solano County since 2020.
